New Yorkers will have a chance to get up close and personal with Heintz’s satirical photography series next month – (see post in Daily Photo News Review). It is a remarkable moment in Heintz’s project, after 15 years in evolution from student project to multi-media visual arts fanfare – armed with the support of her familyquins.
But for our documentary production, it is an opportunity to get further behind the scenes (Yonkers and Scarsdale, NY to be precise, where our heroine grew up) to chronicle all the twists and turns in Heintz’s own journey – and struggles to find truth, meaning and impact as she puts her life’s work up for public consumption.
We will also keep you posted on what happens when you search for an iconic New York backdrop to shoot a holiday greetings card with two mannequins and a documentary camera crew in tow…
